Kari Gunter-Seymour is a poet, photographer and paint slinger. Her work has been published in The Sun Magazine, Appalachian Heritage, Looking at Appalachia, Light Magazine, Storm Cellar Quarterly, Les Femmes Folles and Vine Leaves Journal. She is a recently retired Instructor in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and the founder/executive director of the Women of Appalachia Project™.
