Summer Fields

by Dana Gray

(Grants Administrator and

Research Coordinator)

I am currently the Grants Administrator for the department of Pathology and the Research Coordinator for the Department of Surgery. I work with both WVU faculty and residents to help assure that their Research endeavors run smoothly from finding and submitting grants for funding, research budgets, post award management and research compliance.

I love being outside, and have great fun hiking, fishing, and keeping honeybees. My encaustic work uses beeswax and tree resin, and sometimes pigments to paint melted wax. Each layer of wax is fused with a blow torch to the one below create depth and texture to the landscapes I create.
